Citizens of Canada with special conditions are able to apply for the sponsorship of their first-class relatives (below) who intend to immigrate to Canada
Family Sponsorship
If you are a Canadian citizen or a permanent residence in Canada, you can sponsor a family member living outside of Canada if you are 18 years old or older

Spouse 16 years or older –
Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa –
Children and adopted children-by definition of dependent child –
Children under the age of 18 that you decided to adopt –
Children under your guardianship –
Brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews or grandchildren who are orphans and under 18 and not married or in common-law relationship –
If you don’t have any relative as stated above who could be sponsored, and don’t have any relative who is Canadian citizen/PR/Registered Indian, you can then sponsor any relatives regardless of age and relationship

Your son or daughter if they are
Under the age of 22 years and not married –
Children who are dependent on their parents for financial or mental disabilities and who have been dependent for years have been exempt from this age requirement
Spouse relative’s immigration through sponsorship
You can also sponsor your own or your spouse relatives if they have lived with you in Canada and maintained their temporary legal status. Your own or spouse dependents include their dependent children inside Canada or abroad
