Visitor Visa

Canada Tourist Visa Requirements

Travellers planning to travel to Canada must meet the following requirements before applying for a tourist visa

  • Prove that you will leave the country after visiting Canada
  • Prove that you can cover all expenses for yourself and your family during the trip
  • Agree that you are not allowed to work or study in Canada with this visa
  • Prove that you and your family members do not pose a security risk to Canada
  • Prove that you are in good health

The Immigration Officer in Canada tells you how long you can stay in Canada. Most visitors or tourists are allowed a six-month stay in the country. If the officer assigns you a stay of less than 6 months, he/she will include in your passport a date that you must leave Canada. If you intend to stay longer than this period, you must apply for an extension of your visa at least 30 days before your travel time expires

Note that many companies promise and guarantee to issue you a Canadian Tourist Visa for large amount of money, but in reality, there is no guarantee for a Canadian Tourist Visa, and it all depends on the officer’s opinion. Remember that no one can promise you a Canadian Tourist Guarantee Visa and this promise is against the Canadian law
